Having earned a Bachelors Degree most of my experience is on the job. I started in the personal computer industry 6 months after the IBM personal computer was introduced in 1981 as a computer sales associate. I hold over 20 certifications in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, as well as being a Social Media Strategist, Customer Service Certified, and a Certified Associate in Project Management.

I have had my own consulting company and have worked with other tutoring services. I currently teach at a local college. I am in their business department and had won Instructor of the Year in 2014. I have taught and presented on Resume writing, and how to find a job. I have been mentioned in the book "Step Up Your Job Search (Harnyak), as a consultant. I currently teach small business management, marketing, finance as well as help students prepare for their certification exams in Microsoft Office.

Having recently been awarded the 2014 instructor of the year at the college I teach at and holding over 20 certifications from Microsoft, Advanced LinkedIn, as well as being a Certified Associate in Project Management and having worked in both the corporate and academic world as a go to person and a trainer, I have a passion for teaching and enabling people to be more effective at what they do. I am available afternoons and most weekends. Optionally a Quick Reference Card can be made giving you step by step directions on how to do the lesson that was covered. Having volunteered as a guest speaker for Northern Cook County's unemployed, I know how to help people plan a strategy in their job search and land that job. I hold certifications in Microsoft Office 2007 & 2010 with both being a Master designation. I teach interactive classes on Professional and Career Development (Success Strategies) as well as being a Certified Project Manager with experience spanning hardware and software upgrades, orientations and training responsibilities. I am an effective communicator able to explain complex concepts from a beginning to an advanced user. I have been told I have outstanding public speaking skills (I was the keynote speaker at a college's graduation ceremony) and have the ability to motivate, energize, and lead to success. I put technical terms in plain English. I got involved with computers back in the early 80s and know how to teach the Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access as well as other applications, as I once had my own consulting company.
