Teaching writing, editing at Columbia College and Northeastern Illinois University. I enjoy mentoring younger people who want to pursue writing and associated subjects. I believe youths who want to improve in these subjects will appreciate the guidance of someone who has built up a variety of experiences in the field. I have written 12 books since 1998 and am presently working on No. 13, on the Jackie Robinson West Little League champions and the neighborhood that developed them. I hosted and produced a syndicated weekly sports radio show for 17 years. And I presently write for and edit a museum web site.
